The PXC 550 supports USB Audio Class 1 and USB Audio Class 2. Page 23 Charging basics section, see page 13. If you connect to a computer for the first time, you may need to set your Sennheiser PXC 550 headphones as the default device in the sound panel of.
I recently got a pair of Sennheiser PXC 550's. I can find them and pair them and on the initial pairing it says connected and stays saying that. However it's like they aren't connected at all. Also I can go down to the bottom right options and press the connect button which shows me all the devices it can see and then it can't see them. But on the Bluetooth system settings I can see it show up there. Also it always shows up as two devices. So I check in printers and devices and it is installed as an unspecified device. Windows is not recognising it as a headset. Not showing up in playback devices. I currently have a Jabra headset connected and working on the same PC. I have a surface pro 4 with windows 10 and the latest updates.
I have tried reinstalling the headphones, i have tried the hardware troubleshooter. I have tried the bluetooth services, restarting them and making them automatic.
I'm at a bit of a loss as what to do next. Also i have not been able to find the manufacturers drivers. Do they exist?
Thanks,
